Radisson Aquatica Resort Barbados

Two things really stand out to us about Radisson Aquatica Resort - (1) the genuine friendliness of the staff and (2) the stunning beachfront location!
From the moment you arrive you're sincerely greeted by the front desk staff and welcomed to Barbados and to the hotel. From the lobby you can already hear the waves gently breaking on the beach and see the tempting turquoise waters.
Your accommodation selection includes rooms & suites, most offering stunning ocean views. Room comforts include free WiFi, large flat screen TV, digital safe, coffee-maker, and leisure chair. The decor is more subdued than you might expect in the Caribbean but the rich browns & neutral colours create a relaxing atmosphere that almost tempts you to stay inside ... but the beach awaits!
The resort is located directly on what many say is the most stunning beach in Barbados. Here the crystal clear waters lap the shore creating the perfect spot for swimming, sea bathing and watersports. The bay is home to several shipwrecks, so grab a snorkel and mask to explore them and meet lots of tropical fish & friendly sea turtles! A nearby scuba shop provides lessons and scuba gear for an even more immersive experience.
If you prefer to stay on top the water then rent a stand up paddle board (and get lessons) or a kayak, all available just steps from the resort.
As dusk falls, either head to your balcony or stay on the beach to enjoy a stunning tropical sunset!
As you would expect from a chain hotel such as Radisson, there are excellent on-site facilities including a lovely restaurant that extends into the ocean, outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre and conference facilities.
While we recommend dining at the resort a few times during your stay, there are lots of dining options within easy walking distance - from a local legend Brown Sugar restaurant, known as the home of Barbadian cuisine, to another legend Cuz's Fish Shack! Ask the staff for their favourite spots as well!
The resort is located within the local UNESCO World Heritage Site and there are several interesting museums nearby that are well worth a visit.
However you spend your Barbados vacation at Radisson Aquatica - lounging around the resort, enjoying the incredible beach & watersports, or as a base for exploring the island - you can depend on top facilities, approachable staff and a trusted brand to make your stay truly memorable.
